  • 1 Brush or Basting Brush To brush the hot dogs with vegetable oil before grilling.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 beef hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for grilling)
  • 1 cup beef chili homemade look at other recipe
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • Mustard and ketchup, for topping optional
  • Pickled jalapeƱos, for topping optional
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Grill the Hot Dogs: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the hot dogs with a little vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Grill the hot dogs for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through and grill marks appear.
  • Toast the Buns: Place the hot dog buns on the grill, cut side down, and toast for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden and warmed through.
  • Assemble the Chili Dogs: Place each grilled hot dog inside a toasted bun. Spoon a generous amount of grass-fed beef chili over each hot dog.
  • Add Toppings: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chili, followed by diced onions. If desired, drizzle with mustard and ketchup for extra flavor. Add pickled jalapeƱos for a spicy kick, and garnish with chopped cilantro for freshness.
  • Serve: Transfer the chili dogs to serving plates and serve immediately while hot. Enjoy your delicious classic chili dogs!
