  • 1 knife
  • 1 Wooden Spoon or Spatula
  • 2-3 Measuring cups
  • 3-4 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Pasta Ladle optional
  • 1 Serving Plate or Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 oz pasta (such as elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Cook Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown Beef: In a separate large skillet, cook the grass-fed ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Saute Onion and Garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Saute until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add Sauce Ingredients: Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juices), beef broth, ketchup, yellow mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef and sauce. Stir well to combine, ensuring that the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
  • Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the pasta mixture. Stir gently to incorporate the cheese into the pasta until melted and creamy.
  • Serve: Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious grass-fed cheeseburger pasta!
